Explore Morocco Tours is a tour operator company registered by the Moroccan government. All our vehicles are air-conditioned, 4×4 Toyota vehicles suitable for off-road driving and can accommodate 6 passengers, and a Hyundai H1 minivan that can accommodate 6 to 8 passengers. For larger groups, we can also provide 48 seat buses.
Confirmation and Payment
A 25% deposit is required to confirm a program. Reservations should be made at least 4 weeks before the program start date. For tours booked in advance, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.
All payments by bank transfer, check (payable in Euro, MAD or US dollars) and through credit card companies such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discovery or via PayPal are accepted.

After breakfast, our journey begins to the Roman city of Volubilis and the mountain town of Moulay Idriss. Lunch in Meknes, then a tour of the city walls, imperial granaries and stables. Overnight at the hotel in Fes.
You will join a guided tour to explore the old medina and the famous souks of Fes - its narrow, cobbled streets are filled with ancient mosques and towering green glazed minarets. You will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Fes. The tour includes a visit to the tannery and the ceramics cooperative to learn about traditional Moroccan handicrafts.
Your driver will pick you up at 8:00 am from your riad or hotel, we will set off and drive (8 hours) over the Middle Atlas Mountains through the cedar forests of Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco), Azrou to Midelt.
The morning after, we will drive towards the Sahara through the Ziz Gorges until the dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. After a few minutes of relaxation in Merzouga, we will go to the camels waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drum music in the middle of the Sahara, we will go to high dunes to see the sunset, we will spend the night in nomad tents.
Wake up to take beautiful sunrise photos and have breakfast outdoors. We return to the hotel on camels for a shower. Then we drive to Erfoud, famous for its fossil preparation. We drive through palm groves. We stop for lunch and then take a short walk in the Todra Gorges.
We drive to our stopping point Boumalne de Dades. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we will take a short walk in the gorges before heading to Marrakech. We will follow the Dades Valley through El Kelaa Magona, the Valley of the Roses and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. We will visit Ouarzazate and stop for lunch in the village of Ait Benhadou. We will have time to explore the famous UNESCO protected site, the setting for many films such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and many more. We will drive to Marrakech via the Tichka Pass.
After breakfast, we explore the historical sites of Marrakech: Menara Gardens, Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs and Bahia Palace. We visit the walls of the old Medina, the Agdal Gardens, the new Gueliz district, the markets and the famous Djemaa el Fna square. The famous square - the size of a football field - is just as it was 500 years ago: storytellers, magic potion sellers, dancers, snake charmers and acrobats. Dinner, hotel.
Depending on the flight schedule, our drivers will take you from your hotel to Marrakech airport.
